Bennettsville is located in the northeastern corner of South Carolina, about 40 miles north of Florence and just 10 miles south of the North Carolina border. Bennettsville is one of eight towns that make up the South Carolina Cotton Trail.Downtown Bennettsville boasts a large historic district and is home to a unique selection of boutiques, antique shops, and restaurants.
You can also visit the Marlboro County Historical Museum on South Marlboro Street. Lake Wallace, a favorite spot among local anglers, is located just north of the downtown area offers public access through several boat ramps and fishing piers.
When visiting Bennettsville, be sure to make the short drive over to the small town of Blenheim, the birthplace of South Carolina's famous Blenheim Ginger Ale.
